Transparent Vetting

1. Refund Overview

At Mahindra General Finance Ltd, we follow a highly clear and stage-wise refund policy to ensure complete transparency throughout the loan processing journey. All rules are strictly aligned with the corporate guidelines from page 22 of our company brochure.

We believe that a clear relationship with our clients is built on open communication, and our relationship managers connect with clients offline to ensure every fee and charge parameter is thoroughly understood prior to file submission.

All charges are determined according to the loan amount and are clearly communicated to customers before loan processing begins. There are absolutely no hidden fees.

2. Refundable Scenarios

Specific situations under which applicants are guaranteed a full and swift credit refund of processing charges and file fees:

Company Rejection

If your file is rejected by our credit or audit department at any stage before final disbursement, all processing charges and fees paid will be refunded in full.

Disbursement Refund

As a signature customer benefit, the complete file charge is refunded in full to every single customer within 24 hours of successful loan disbursement, without any extra conditions.

Refund Timeline

Any eligible refunds (e.g. following rejection or cancellation checks) will be fully processed and credited back to the customer's bank account within 15–45 working days.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Specific scenarios under which fees and deposit charges are forfeited due to compliance violations or candidate-driven cancellations:

Prohibited Loan Purpose

Applications for loans meant for weddings, marriage events, medical emergency bills, or any illegal activities are strictly banned. If submitted, they will be instantly rejected with no refund of any fees.

Documentation & Failure

Failure to submit required documents within assigned schedules, providing false, forged, or altered paperwork details, or withdrawing application consent mid-way will lead to immediate file cancellation with no refunds.

Cancellation & Violations

If the applicant cancels the request after processing starts, or fails to meet guarantor and paperwork conditions within the given time, the processing fees and deposits are forfeited completely.

Harassment & Misconduct

Any abusive language, harassment, or threats directed toward company representatives or relationship managers will cause immediate loan rejection, loss of all deposits, and may invite statutory legal action.
